Bethesda, the developer behind Fallout 4 and Fallout Shelter, is taking a different approach with its next game, a new expansion for the series that aims to appeal to kids.
Child Warriors will feature a “mohawked haircut,” Bethesda said in a statement to IGN.
“We’ve heard from our fans that they want a more youthful look in the game,” Bethesda executive producer Mike O’Brien said.
“This haircut is going to be part of the child warriors experience.”
The haircut will be customizable, and Bethesda is offering up options for children who have the right hair.
For example, children with curly hair will have the option of having their hair dyed blonde.
The Moccasins will also have a different hairstyle option, and the character will have different hair styles.
“Children are our biggest fans and they want to have fun and have fun in our games,” O’Briensaid.
“As we move forward, we’re excited to share the mohawk cut with our fans.”
The mohawking is one of the more iconic features of Fallout 4’s character models.
The hair style was designed to look like the character, but was later tweaked for use in the Fallout universe.
For Child Warriors, Bethesda is adding the moccasin hairstyle.
O’Brien confirmed to IGN that this will be the only version of the mofo haircut.
“The moccasin will be available in both the standard and child warrior versions, and we’re going to give you an opportunity to choose from them all,” he said.
O’Brian also revealed that Bethesda will not be removing the mocassins from the game.
“We will be including the mescal as part of our expansion, and it will be part [of the] child warrior experience,” Obert said.
The moccassins will be a “part of the kid warriors experience” in Child Warriors.
Child Warriors will come out in late 2018.
