MTV News – 3rd Kids Home Kids Home 3rdKids Home, which premiered last year on MTV, follows the adventures of a group of kids who move to an isolated community in California.
The boys, who are all of color, discover that they’re not alone in their world and the only way to escape is to get a haircut.
The series has been nominated for a Golden Globe and has earned accolades from MTV’s parent company Viacom, including “Best Original Series” and “Best Television Program” for the third season.
The series, which airs on MTV Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays at 8 p.m.
ET/PT, has garnered more than 4.5 million total viewers in the U.S. The show also earned a Peabody Award nomination.
The boys are joined in the new series by the returning John Oliver, who previously created and hosted the series.
The first installment of the series aired on June 1, 2017, with the second installment airing on June 17.
The show was inspired by the documentary “The Homecoming,” which documents the journey of the three homecoming kingpin’s sons, the brothers who become “Homecoming Kingpins” after their parents are killed by police.
The third episode of the third series aired in November, 2018, and will be available on Viacum’s YouTube channel, MTV News reports.
